Laundry crisis

August 5, 2008 by Chris

Did ya notice I was gone? We went away for the weekend to see some family. Our secondary reason for going away is that our dryer is broken–kaput–finito–dead. With a family of 4 (5 for those of you who might count the Nemesis) who goes through an average of 9 clothing changes a day–no, I’m not joking–we are in desperate need of it. Needless to say, our laundry looks like this: Note–this is not my laundry. It just looks like this.

It’s so bad that I didn’t even know I had another baby! He’s a quiet little sucker.

Because of this laundry crisis and us being out of town this weekend, I have nothing fun to show you. I’ll be back with something soon. Just as soon as I use each one of these to catch up.
P.S. Many people have asked about the paint color in my 1/2 bath and dining room. It is called Willow by Martha Stewart. The only problem is that I don’t know if it’s made anymore. My aunt tried to get it last summer, and she couldn’t find it. Good luck in your hunt for a pretty green that’s tricky to decorate around! 🙂

P.P.S. Thank you for all your wonderful comments about the bathroom. You ladies never disappoint.

I was taking a bread about the same time. So it worked out great. I hate that your dryer is broken. I can’t even image. I hope you get it fixed or something soon.

So glad you’re back! Ugh! Laundry! My pile looks like that and we didn’t even go out of town. Someone should invent paper clothing that you can throw away after each use. Good luck!

It seems like my laundry room gets to that state every week. I have the same problem of multiple changes a day. Thanks for putting me on your side bar! Good luck finding a dryer.
