Are mattresses exciting to talk about? Mattresses are one of those things that you don’t think about purchasing, but when you get a great one, you wanna tell everyone about it!
My daughter has been asking for a new mattress for a couple of years. We kept thinking, “She’s little. How bad can the mattress be?” See Evidence A below.
Ok, I get it. We won’t be winning parents of the year awards anytime soon. When we started looking at mattresses, Little Miss starting having an opinion about what kind of mattress she wanted. She specifically asked for a foam mattress. Slow your roll, 12-year old.
Well, lucky for us Yogabed came around, and we were sold. Apparently, so was a certain tween.
“Mom, take a picture of me sleeping on it.” at 3:00 in the afternoon, mind you.
So why Yogabed? My selling point? The removable, washable mattress pad cover that simply zips on and off! Can I get an Amen?
Ok, so enough with the dramatics. Clearly there’s more to it than a removable mattress pad cover. I think.
1. Comfort. No joke, Little Miss came downstairs the other morning and said, “Mom, it is literally like I slept on a cloud last night. It was the best sleep I’ve had in my entire life!” Yeah, all 12 years of it.
2. Yogabed is hypoallergenic and no latex-based foams. When you have a kid with allergies, that’s a pretty big deal!
3. The informative website. Seriously. Anything you want to know about Yogabed is readily available. It’s not a used car salesmen approach. You can tell they’ve made a great product, and they just want you to be a part of it too!
I’ve been doing this blogging thing for a long time, and I have never promoted a product that I didn’t believe in. This mattress really is dreamy, and I certainly feel like a better parent for providing her with that kind of comfort at night—until I fed her toast and Oreos for dinner.
*Disclosure: Yogabed provided us with this mattress, but the opinions are completely my own. If I can spread the word about a great company with an awesome product, then so be it.
