Are you tired of all the holiday parties yet? Well, with New Year’s Eve upon us, I imagine you’ve got one more in your schedule. We are hosting this year, but I have a cute and easy hostess gift for you from…..Lowes. Yup. Lowes’ monthly challenge was a hostess gift, and it wasn’t a difficult task.
I used a couple of dollar store vases (my favorite), but all the other supplies can be found at Lowes. They have a beautiful holiday selection where I found my embellishments. If you’re lucky, you’ll find them on sale right now!
I wrapped the rope around each vase with some hot glue to hold it in place.
Then I just embellished with an ornament and some clippings from a holiday pick. Dab the hot glue carefully so it’s not seen, and you’re done! You can leave it as is, or you can add a candle inside. Perhaps a wine bottle narrow enough to place in it? Who knows…cute idea though, eh?
