For all the years I’ve been blogging, I don’t do too many local things with it. It took me four years just to tell people I was a blogger! I write a monthly article for our local magazine, but that’s about it. However, Michaela recently reached out to me about speaking at her and Ashley’s one day conference The Bloom Workshop here in town in September. I was all, “Yeah!” mostly ‘cause it’s one of the beautiful functions I’ve ever seen! Secondly, because I like the idea of meeting some other locals who are passionate about design and blogging like I am.
It takes place on September 18th in a charming barn (hello, lucite chairs!) just down the road from me. Who knew?
The day includes lessons on interior design, photography, blogging, and styling. You can’t really go wrong with this as your classroom, eh?
I’ll be sitting on a Q and A panel in this charming space, and I imagine I’ll be taking plenty of notes myself. ‘Cause, you know—we’re always learning!
There are still some openings left, so if you’re in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area (or wanna make a trip here for it!), feel free to sign up. You can find registration information here, and you can find conference information here—including what’s offered through the day for you! Professional head shots? Hello! Hopefully, I’ll see you there!
What a beautiful local place! I certainly wish I were closer to this ‘classroom’:)
