It’s that time of year for us in Michigan! That small window between the hot and muggy days of summer and the lengthy, miserably cold, and dark days of winter. Fall, y’all. Michigan knows how to do it! I thought I’d take you on a brief fall color tour of my stomping grounds.
It’s nothing fancy, really. I wander around to my favorite spots in town and take pictures. Mother Nature does the rest. It’s kind of like a group project in high school.
I took pictures a little late this year, so you may notice a lack of orange/red colors. The orange and red trees tend to shed faster than the yellow. My husband and I took a gorgeous fall color tour on the famous M22 a couple of years ago. These pictures from the trip show you the variation just a bit.
I hope you’re enjoying your fall! And I hope yours last a lot longer than ours. It’s already getting a little ugly outside.
