I had to take a break from Tuesday Traveler this week, ’cause…well…I haven’t posted much else. With kids’ sports, Europe, and planning/attending for Haven, my project time has been limited. But I’m hoping I’m back! The issue now is that I have 99 projects, and a post ain’t 1. (Jay Z cred) Hopefully, I can sit down and actually type something up for you!
As part of my Lowes monthly project, I’m showing how a little bird feeder can be turned into a tabletop planter. It turned out so cute, and it was an easy project!
I saw this little bird feeder, and I knew something sprucy had to be done!
Some yellow spray paint, some wooden feet glued to the bottom, and the cutest flowers are all I needed.
Since it’s such a shallow pot, I really have to keep the water on it. The bottom was already perfect for drainage, and it was an easy transformation! Not bad, eh?

With the low drainage area this little planter would be great to grow succulents in. Love the beach inspired theme.

Ack, that is cute! Why would I say Ack when I think it is cute? I don’t know — it’s just the first sound that came out of my mouth. I’m not very wordy! B-)

That is so cute! Those little feet on the bench planter look like they should have been on there all along. I’m going to have to run out to Lowe’s and find this cute bird feeder to transform. And I agree with Liz above, succulents would be perfect in it – especially since I live in TX where they’ll thrive!

Hi! Where did you find the cute little feet?

Oh this turned out so cute. I’m going to run right over there and get me this feeder. Great idea too. Charming. I’m surprised there are still flowers to buy. Pansey’s are one of my favorites. Mom
