Well hello there! Happy tour day! While I’m excited to share my home’s Christmas cheer with you, I’m overly giddy to see what the other bloggers have done! Basically, I’m giddy to see all the ideas I’m gonna swipe from them. Would you believe me if I told you I’m not even done decorating yet? Of course you would. ‘Cause that would be a dumb thing for me to lie about.
Soooo I’m stop 1 (duh), and after you visit here, you can see my friend (and inspiration!) Nester at
I’ll have the list of bloggers at the end of this post, and be sure to check back! I’ll be updating all their links through the week. Okay–enough talking. Here we go!
The theme outside is lots of greenery. Nothing too complex, but I like it to welcome our guests!
I kept the dining room at a minimum this year, but I focused on the china cabinet. Have you ever tried to photograph items in a black cabinet? Gees. We’re talking rocket science here.
You know I love the neutrals, so I went with some gold-tone trees to match the room. Really, anything with glitter is my friend.
The main room always gets the most attention ’cause that’s where we spend most of our time.
I haven’t changed up the tree in a couple years ’cause…you know, I like it that way.
The mantel, however, is always getting a new outfit. She’s spoiled.
I’ve been covering things in sweaters for years (it’s an illness), so why not add some sweater presents? The satin ribbon…drool.
One word: Fur. I can’t get enough of it.
My poor son’s room. I change that sucker constantly, and it’s having identity issues. I l-o-v-e decorating for such a masculine space, so I can’t leave it alone.
Yes. I jumped on the deer head bandwagon. Judge me. I dare you.
Like it doesn’t totally belong in here.
The kitchen is getting it’s own special touches still, but you can see how I decorated the table already. Clearly, we eat like this every day.
And finally…our room. My husband hates the color red, so I don’t decorate with it. But it’s Christmas! I need some red somewhere, right? I figure he spends most of his time in here with his eyes closed, so maybe he’ll never know.
So that’s most of the house. I’m still tweaking a couple of spaces, and of course I couldn’t leave out Little Miss’s room. AND I haven’t shown the outside yet! We’re getting dumped on with snow right now, so it’ll be nice and white.

Chris, How lovely everything is. It’s hard to tell you what is my favorite. Love the sweater presents and satin bows on the mantle. Jackson’s room is FAB…Love the plaid throw with the deer head. Perfect for his room, and such a cool Christmas tree. He can lay in bed and truly enjoy how you decorated his “area”. Your bedroom is georgeous! Had fun going to each new red item. Lovely bell wreaths on the mirrors and those three red vases. I like your style honey compared to some of the other homes. You decorate with class and style without being junky looking. Love it. Mom
