Your projects are amazing! What a great year in review. I love everything you did. :)

Chris December 28, 2011 at 11:25 am

Thanks so much, Laura!

Brittny Hemphill December 27, 2011 at 9:40 pm

I love it all!!! Looking forward to what you have in store for next year! (Oh, and I still wish we were neighbors and friends. And I went back and bought that wreath. Yup, and hung it up even though it was the day after Christmas. I actually go outside just to look at it it’s so pretty!)

Chris December 28, 2011 at 11:25 am

Yay! So glad you got the wreath. Too bad we’re not neighbors–then I could enjoy it too! ;) Good girl, Brittny!

My favorite by far is the new table – I wish I could be as adventurous with color but so far my house is brown, tan, cream, and chocolate… Hopefully 2012 will bring you plenty more projects to give us DIY-envy and inspiration!

Chris December 28, 2011 at 11:24 am

My house is quite similar, Laura. I can’t help it. Love the neutrals. Find somewhere less “threatening” in the house and plug a pop of color in there. You’ll be amazed how much you love it!

Crystal December 27, 2011 at 11:26 pm

Gorgeous!! Love the hutch makeover and many others!! Can’t wait to see your new projects in 2012. :)

Chris December 28, 2011 at 11:23 am

Thank you, Crystal! Me too! :)

Your bath redo is just the best! And, I would love to find a china cabinet like that to paint and I think about your son’s pallet wall about once a week! Maybe we’ll bite that one off someday…fabulous ideas and inspiration!

Chris December 28, 2011 at 4:04 pm

Ha! Thank you, Jennifer!

Kim @ Sand & Sisal December 28, 2011 at 5:13 pm

You really did some amazing projects this year! I’m still drooling over your son’s wooden walled room!!! Don’t kill me if I replicate it! My son loves it! Have a wonderful New Year Chris!

Patty December 28, 2011 at 5:14 pm

We moved into a new house last May and I love your door painted. I am so going to do that this spring. Thanks

Girl, 2011 was a great project year for you. Each one I was thinking, “Oh, that’s my favorite!” Until I saw the next photo. Hall aqua table and bathroom are pretty darn fabulous.

Marianne@Songbird December 28, 2011 at 6:28 pm

Shannon January 1, 2012 at 3:37 pm

My goodness, your year in review just proves to me why I keep coming back to your blog for inspiration again and again. If I could paint at all, I’d wish my projects would come out just like yours. I do have those same brown feathers and a white yarn wreath I’m not using. Perhaps I can hack a JAG project in 2012! ;) Thanks again for all the inspiration!

Miss Charming January 2, 2012 at 3:25 am

Your painted china cabinet has always been one of my favorites. (I’ve been looking for the perfect piece for my daughter’s room ever since I saw yours.) Of course the wood plank wall is awesome. It totally transforms the room.

Chris January 2, 2012 at 1:35 pm

Thank you, Miss Charming! Craigslist will be your best friend. :)

Amanda Jones (@creativendeavor) January 3, 2012 at 3:15 am
