My spring break is on its last leg (sigh), so I went home for a couple of days to spend some quality time with my mom. Of course, that quality time almost always involves some shopping. She lives a few minutes away from a Pottery Barn outlet (lucky duck), so we knew that had to be our main stop. I lu-huve it when bloggers go shopping and take me along for the virtual ride. How ’bout I do the same for you? They’re all cellphone pics, so bear with me.
Hands down, if I had to choose one thing to buy in multiples at PB, it would be lanterns. Large, small, silver, iron–it doesn’t matter. I love every single one of them.
I loved this wheel. It was super large, and I have no idea what it’s officially for. Cool though, eh?
Chairs. Lots of them. Drool.
I don’t see vanities here very often, but there were a couple this time. Gorgeous!
The whole reason we went to PB outlet was that I was looking or a specific chandelier. You should now my luck by now. They didn’t have it. But look at all these pretties!
While I love the ikat bedding, I thought long and hard about the ivory ottoman at the bottom of the pic. I seriously wanted it, but ivory under my kids’ feet? Meh. Had to pass–this time.
And lastly…PB Teen section. I didn’t take the pictures I should have here, but they have such a great selection! It almost made me want to redo my son’s room. Great colors, no?
Shockingly, I walked out empty-handed. Don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll make up for it soon. Have a great rest of the weekend, and I’ll be back next week. Granted, I’ll be much more tired since that alarm clock will be calling my name much earlier. 🙁
Hi Chris,
Are the prices at PB outlet worth making a 5 hour trip for? I live pretty far from one, but really want to plan a trip to visit one.
I love PB and have asked for one of EVERYTHING! The outlet looks like a FUN place to shop with the EMERGENCY FUND! I think the WHEEL is from the game of ROULETTE…as in Las Vegas (gambling). Of course, the BEST part was spending QUALITY time with your MOM. Thanks for sharing…
That wheel reminds me of a roulette wheel.
Looks almost identical to the outlet at Birch Run where I was at today. I really love all their displays. Saw the double & single vanities too. Beautiful but were not in the market for them now. I settled and got a seasonal pillow cover for the sofa.
Where is this wonderful place? I want to go to there! I have a feeling if it were close-by I would know about it by now.
Thanks for sharing all the drool-worthy finds!
We have an outlet about 30 minutes from us, and I need to make more regular trips to see what they have available! You never know what kinds of treasures you’ll find!
Wish I had a PB outlet near my home. It’s my absolute favorite store. Here’s an idea–why not have a PB online outlet store for those if us who live out in the boonies?
Did I miss it – where is this outlet located?
Chris…just curious if the cream ottoman you show was fabric or leather? Any idea on the price? Thanks much. In kalamazoo and would maybe make the trek.
Hi Abby! Thanks for stopping over at House by Hoff earlier this week! I can’t believe your mom gets to live so close to a PB Outlet…everyone should be so lucky! Love those laterns, and those bathroom vanities are amazing. Love your blog, can’t wait to poke around a little more! 🙂
Hi there,
Just thought I’d let you know that the wheel is a spinning wheel-used at places like fairs. People buy a ticket with a number on it ( corresponding with a number on the wheel), then once all the tickets are sold the wheel is spun. It will stop with an indicator on one of the numbers and whomever has that number wins the prize.
I would be in so much trouble if there were a PB outlet nearby.
Thanks for taking me along! 🙂 I didn’t have to spend a thing.
Kelly
I haven’t been to a PB outlet in forever! Hope your Monday wasn’t too hard – I’m so ready for summer at this point.
I had a great time shopping Chris. Being together and shopping is quality time for your mom! I was amazed you didn’t buy one of those lanterns! There were sooo many to choose from. What was the reason again? I was so busy filling up my cart. Wish I had purchased the wicker desk chair on casters for (249) it’s 400 in the catalog. What was I thinking??? Guess we have to go there again. Can’t wait. I’am lucky, but you have a new Home Goods in Grand Rapids remember!!! Loved your visit. Mom
I don’t know where I have been living, but I had no idea that PB had outlet stores! Your trip looked fun and pretty cool. I liked all those metallic lanterns in a dozen sizes too, and I think that wheel with the numbers is a roulette wheel, possibly vintage. Thanks for posting!
