This weekend, my husband and I started in on Phase 1 of what will probably be a 50 12-phase project. He is doing a LOT more work than I let on he’d be doing, and he’s been such a trooper about it.
So here’s your sneak peek. I wouldn’t get too excited just yet. I have a feeling this project is going to take us quite a while, but it let’s you know what’s going on in JaG’s garage, I guess.
Hopefully, it also explains why our driveway currently looks like this.
Don’t worry, neighbors. The Clampits won’t be here long.
pallets!! i need pallets! i have several ideas for them in my head. just dont know where to get them. some people tell me to go to stores and ask for them….but i feel silly lol.
what are you making?? As I walked out of one of our schools yesterday and spied a pile of pallets I said to my husband “are they just going to throw those away? can I have them?” He said I can have them dropped off! Yippee…too many projects going through my head!
Sounds like a lot of good projects! My hubby is a part-time metal recycler, so my driveway/backyard always has crazy stuff all over it. I asked him to move it so it wasn’t visible as you walk by or drive by… he’s been a good sport. I’m sure the neighbors get a little tired of seeing the large pickup filled with large metal parked in front of our house each weekend! Oh well, his heart is definitely in the right place!
Love this! I can’t wait to see what you make out of it! 🙂
I too am working on a huge pallet project! Good luck!
Same here – pallet project. It’s been swimming in my head for a couple years now and I am finally getting around to it!
I can’t wait to see what your creative mind comes up with! And high five to your hubby for being awesome.
For free pallets check out Craigslist…usually under the FREE section!!
Now you have got me very, very, very curious:) Love Junkyard Dog’s pose:)
I’m so excited to see what this turns into- I’m wanting to use pallets at my wedding, fitting since I used to work at Home Depot!
Laughing my arse off at your picture and captions at the end of this post!! I cannot wait to see what you do with these!
