Whoops. You really should be used to this by now. I start a series, and then I sporadically follow it. If nothing else, I always have the element of surprise, eh? Well alright. In case you forgot, so far we’ve traveled to Amsterdam, Heidelberg, and Munich. And next up? Austria. This is the point in my trip that I thought, ‘I’m pretty sure I’m gonna spend some money over here.” And spend money, I did. The shopping was incredible–even if I did buy corny things that make me laugh.
We visited the Swarovski store, listened to an orchestra, shopped, and then shopped some more.
But my favorite part? This little nugget of goodness. My friend (who travels everywhere!) wanted to treat us to a special dessert, and we never would have found it without him.
We sat in a beautiful private patio and indulged in the most decadent cake I’ve ever had. If you like chocolate, take a moment to appreciate it.
And lest we forget we’re in Austria here, let’s take a moment to soak in the view. It had rained quite heavily before we got there, so the river was full and muddier than usual. Uhhh that didn’t bother me one. bit. Beautiful, eh?!
So in case you’re wondering what I purchased in Austria, I’ll give you this little goody. You may be embarrassed to think I posed for this picture, so it probably won’t help for you to know that we took several of them. In front of other people. And we made our friend take them of us. Poor guy.
That chocolate cake looks amazing! I want to go to Austria just to try that cake!
Oh, and I copied your Tuesday Traveler idea…Or I guess I should say I was inspired by your Tuesday Traveler idea!
