I have an office/craft room that I guess I don’t talk about very much. Perhaps because it’s usually buried in teenager stuff. Wrappers? Throw them on the floor. Binders? Leave them all open on the desk. And while you’re at it, try to shoot paper “basketballs” into the drums of the desk lamps. I digress. Let’s focus on its current state.
I titled it with Ikea because it just occurred to me just how much Ikea contributed to this little space! The bookshelves (my favorite) were built in by us using Billy bookshelves.
I house all my craft materials, office supplies, and printer on Ikea’s Malm dresser. Oh man, it works out beautifully! (You can see my ribbon storage solution here.) I’ve been on the hunt for some sassy drawer pulls for about two years now.
The desk is the Alex. It’s just perfect for doing homework assignments and using the computer.
And then (this is getting a little embarrassing), I use the Lack shelves over the sewing desk. It beautifully houses my HomeGoods dish and my grandfather’s cameras. I didn’t take pictures of the sewing area because my daughter was in the middle of “a very important project, Mom”.
Plant…Ikea.
I love that all the pieces have such clean lines and they’re so well-priced! Obviously I’m a fan. My only issue now is that big, black blob of a computer screen. I’m on the hunt for something more sleek and blendable. This girl won’t spring for the Apple screen, so off to Amazon I go. Any recommendations?

This is beautiful. I am so envious of this dedicated space. My sofa is my current office. Not as inspiring. Love the sleek look. So clean and pretty.
