It’s an exciting day, folks! The 2nd Annual Holiday Home Tour is here, and I’m first in line. Eeks! I’m so thrilled that these talented ladies have decided to join me this year. You’ll leave this tour with a whole lot of inspiration, that’s for sure.
I had a particularly busy week with kids’ activities, so my plan was to decorate this weekend. ALL weekend. I got home from work on Friday and came down with the stomach flu 33 minutes later. As I was throwing up, all I could think about was, “The tour! How am I gonna decorate for the tour?” I have issues. So bear with me—I’m just gonna have to spread this out through the week.
Let’s come in through the back door today ‘cause the front isn’t done. Gotta be honest here, ya know?
After you trip over shoes and dodge backpacks in the mudroom, hopefully you can make it to the living room for the Christmas splendor. I won’t bother you with words. Just walk around and take it in…
You know I love my neutrals, but I always try to do some pop of color in the front of the house. My flocked tree—which I’ll talk about in another post—deserved some color, and she shows it off well, eh?
If you’d like to see some tours of Christmas’ past, you can start with these…
I have a bunch of “half-done” spaces ready to show you, but that wouldn’t be a very fun tour, would it? Ya wanna know who has their stuff together and will knock your socks off with gorgeousness? Melissa from The Inspired Room. That’s who.
And are you ready for the fantastic line-up for this week? I know I am! I will be updating the post as soon as possible with all the links for the tour as they come in! So sorry about the flu meltdown. ’Tis the season, eh?
