Don’t get too upset with me. I haven’t really started decorating yet. But I did do some shopping this weekend, and I couldn’t resist some dollar store finds. I always blame them for jumpstarting my holiday decor. How could I walk away from these cuties? For $1.00!
My favorite part is that I know I won’t keep them this way. A little spruce here; a little tweak there… It’s fun to add a little something extra. I spray painted the wreath with chalkboard paint (because that’s all I had—blaspheme!), and strung some plastic spiders from it. Spoooooky, no?
Speaking of spooky, I did something similar with a larger dollar store wreath last year. Spray paint just makes it too easy.
The other two signs didn’t need much love, but a boring jute string is easily replaced with some colorful ribbon to fancify it! Ahhh yes. Much better.
That’s about the extent of the decorating so far, but I was pretty pleased to get a few touches out for $3.00! Just another example of holiday decor on the cheap!
wow! This is why I love love the dollar store. I am running to the car right now. I love that Spooky wreath.
those wreaths turned out great! way to fancify everything;)!
Very nice. Oh how I love dollar store finds.
OMG I just found your blog today and I AM HOOKED!!! Love it…..
Very cute! I need to get moving on my fall decor…thanks for the ideas!

Great finds from the dollar store. You come up with the best stuff. Don’t feel guilt about early Halloween, I have a few things out myself. Love fall colors so much, just can’t wait to set it all out. Mom
