I’m back with another monthly project from Lowes. As luck would have it, we just finished staining our deck, and it definitely needed some jewelry to spruce it up. We didn’t want to spend a lot of money this year because we plan on doing a large patio next summer. It’s best to wait and see what we want at that time, but until then I wanted us to be able to relax outside this summer. You with me?
The turquoise pots were my starting point. They were on clearance at Lowes (yay!), and I lu-huved the simple curves to them. You can’t see it, but the rug (Pier 1) has blue and lime green in it.
I picked up a few cans of spray paint because I knew I was going to paint my chairs lime green. Wouldn’t you know it. They already had them in lime green! Oh, Lowes. You know me too well.
Of course, at only $17.00 a chair, I couldn’t throw them in my car fast enough. That tall plant in the middle? $15.00. Yes, really. The rest of the plants are all from Lowes as well. Beautiful. They definitely make the difference, no?
The firepit was a black Friday deal at Target, and I already had the pillows. I was quite pleased that I was able to make a little oasis for us without having to spend a lot of money.
I am thankful to Lowes for letting me be on their creative team. As a result, they provided me with the funds to do this. However, it was an inexpensive fix for a boring problem! If you haven’t done so already, check out Lowes’ Creative Ideas magazine. It’s FREE!
This looks very nice! I just want to say that we have a similar fire pit and it was on our lawn, but after it killed all the grass underneath, we put a concrete patio stone underneath to prevent a grass fire. I would be very careful of your pretty rug and not to mention, that wood deck.
I love how this looks! We did a robin-egg blue pot with pink flowers this year (from Lowes) and we have received so many compliments. The green is a nice added touch. Thanks for sharing!
Love the colors! It definately is inviting! I would love to be out there now! Beautiful!!
I love the green and turquoise/blue combo! Looks great!
How fun is this! I love the colors you chose.
Summery yet relaxing–I especially love turquoise in our summer garden. I put it with pink, but I think the green combination is a winner too!
Absolutely perfect! What a lovely place to relax in
Your deck looks amazing! I just came across your blog yesterday actually and have enjoyed stalking your page and reading a few of your posts 😉 My husband and I are considering tackling the staining process on our deck as well and may give the stain you guys used a shot. We can’t go quite as dark, but I am in love with the color choice you made. I have the same green chairs you have – they are great!
I honestly never thought that such a cacophony of color would look so awesome! I need to be more adventurous.
Wow! Absolutely lovely. I really like your color scheme too. Good deal landing the chairs in the lime green already. So refreshing and cool looking. Bet you all enjoy your deck alot. I can’t wait to see it for myself. So many projects you have done, that I haven’t seen yet. Love ya, Mom

The space looks so relaxing. I love the color combo. It is one of my favorites and part of my work-in-progress yard as well.
That is really cute! Somehow I have missed out on your blog for awhile – not sure how that happened. I have been changing up how I follow everyone and somehow you got lost:(:( I’m fixing that problem now! I’ve read your blog for a long time now and didn’t intend to quit! Forgive me?!?
