How do you write a post saying, “Hey look! I was in a magazine!” without it sounding like, “Hey look! I was in a magazine!” I hadn’t planned on writing it at all, but then I received droves (love that word) of e-mails and messages asking about resources for it.
Needless to say, my 15 minutes of fame are long gone, but I do want to put the shopping resources in one place for you. So if you’ve been wondering where I found the items in this room, this post is for you!
- Rug: RugsUSA

I’m off to parent teacher conferences this week, so wish me luck! Conferences—the bane of teachers’ existence.
I was SO excited to see you in BH&G! I always feel like I “know” the people in these features when they’re bloggers that I follow, and you are no exception. 🙂 Such a great project, such a well-deserved feature. Congrats!

WOW – good for you. The room looks great!!! Be proud of yourself.
Congrats! How exciting!
Hey, if I was in a magazine, I’d totally say, “I’m in a magazine!” There’s no one out there who wouldn’t know. You did an amazing job, the room is fantastic – and it’s an all “guy” room! My favorite thing is that lampshade – I love the woven effect and that it’s orange, too. Another thing, his room fits right in here in Austin – home of the Texas Longhorns!
I am just so excited for you that this room was featured! I said it should be in a magazine when you first revealed it! Now it needs to be in MORE magazines!
So glad you were featured- it really is a great room.
Ummmmmm………Hello……. You should be posting about this & in all CAPS. How awesome for you & you should be so proud. The room looks awesome & I love that all of the sources are affordable.
PS. You look beautiful in print 🙂
Woohoo! So happy to see you in there. It’s my all time fave magazine. You deserve it – very creative with the wood pallets & color choices! I still remember you talking about them being piled in your driveway.
Liz
Of course you have to write about it! We applaud you!! Where did you source all the old wood, by the way?
Very nice great snice!
Just saw your cute room in BH&G and thought I’d check out your blog!
Your mom still gets giddy with pride everytime I look at your BH&G article!
I saw that in my zine. How exciting for you. Loved the wall.I’d love to do that in any room since I’ve been waiting for rooms to get painted for over 6 yrs.now. Think it would insulate the walls also. Congrats.
Talk about patience, didn’t know I had patience, let alone 6 + yrs. worth, lol.
Well of course you should write a post about it! It’s not everyday you end up in a magazine, never mind BHG!!!!! Whaaaaaahooooo! Congrats and so happy for you!
