The Dining Room (said with echoes)

July 7, 2010 by Chris

Let’s take this reveal back to the beginning, shall we?  We were just getting ready to attack it, so I wasn’t particularly concerned with lighting.

It was a green room with black furniture.  It was a pebble in my shoe, a thorn in my side—we didn’t get along well.

Prepare yourself for some pictures ‘cause I’m pretty happy with it.

I actually like like the curtains like that. Maybe it reminds me of the hems on elegant dresses you see and wish you had a reason to wear one. I think a splash of color in the form of a tie on the curtains would be just enough. Just my opinion though.

Hi Robin! Of course. The square birch tree canvas was found at Wal Mart for $25.00. The large, rectangular piece was just a painting I did myself. (Insert nervous giggle here.) I just mixed up some craft paint and made some swirls? Good luck!
