A Sneak Peak!

April 21, 2009 by Chris

I painted my half bath three times and realized I hated the color…remember?  My goal was to paint it with one more coat…one. more. coat.  Famous last words.

It was my VERY first brush of paint and WHAM!  My back went out, I couldn’t breath, and I was down for the count.  After three hours of shear agony, my husband took me to the hospital.  The HOSPITAL!!  I don’t go to the hospital, people.  It’s just not my thing.  Well, apparently my back had other plans.

42-15904705So here’s me in the hospital.  Sure, I might look happy, but I aged by like 30 years.  You see why I don’t like hospitals?

The best I can do for you is a sneak peak.  It’s not done, but it IS wanting to be done.IMG_4993

That’s all I have for now.  That’s all I might have for a couple of days.  Hopefully, I’ll be back sooner rather than later.  For now, I’m off to lay on my heating pad while taking medicines that make me see little Smurfs running around the room!

Please note!  I want to thank all of you who came by from SITS and had such wonderful and supportive things to say.  At one point, I had over 1,000 e-mails, and I was as giddy as a school girl!  I’ve already met some wonderful new friends, and I’m so thankful that SITS gives us the opportunity to do this!  If you don’t know what SITS is…stop by and say hello!

WoW… I too was down with my back this past weekend… Mine had to do with lifting a 25 pound baby and his carseat out of the car wrong… When I read this, I could totally relate… The whole couldn’t breath thing, I serious thought, if I just lay down here in the driveway… how long will it take my older boys to find me, but out of fear my neighbors would find me first and call 911… I drug myself into the house… UGH… I feel for ya girl!
