I'm new to reading your blog and giveaways. I'm not sure how that works. I was just happy to see this company promoting such wonderful virtues instead of "sexy" "flirty" "glamorous" which we are constantly seeing from other cosmetic companies.

Your first sentence about liberal values until it comes to the messages we send to women and girls fits me to a tee. I cringe when I see words like "hottie" on children. Love the virtues they chose too. Not too often women are encouraged to be curious.

What a great product for our girls. I am the mom to a very modest, beautiful, virtuous, fifteen year old and would love for her to have something like this. She wears very little makeup and this would be neat for her to have. Bravo to this company.

With all the magazines depicting their version of beauty (skinny girls with skimpy outfits), teen girls forget what real beauty is (smart girls who respect themselves).

Lip gloss is so much fun–half lipstick, half chapstick so you don't need a mirror to apply it. And you can do it at the restaurant table after you eat without feeling cheesy.

I just went to the website for these products and I really love the idea behind their creations. I have 2 daughters, 5 & 3, but I'm already realizing that they pick up on certain words and moods. I am a conservative (well, I dress conservative, my home is pretty darn conservative etc. but normally I don't like to put labels on myself or others and just think we are a hodgepodge of our own idea and beliefs) With that said, I am soooooooo… with you in the children thing. When I see little girls in clothing that looks like it was made for a 20 something I cringe!
