Do you ever have those days where you wish you had a fabulous camera that just took fabulous pictures with one button? Yeah…I froze outside the other night waiting for that picture. This is the best thing I came up with.
This was a couple of nights ago before the 10 inches of snow we got. We’re getting another 6 inches tonight. I went out tonight because I realized one of the lights had fallen out of the window. (Ooh…a game! Can you find it?) I got pictures of white dots, but no house. Between that and the beating these trees have taken on the front porch, I decided to just give up. No fabulous camera, no fabulous Christmas trees, and no fabulous picture. Hmph…When I came back in the house, I realized that I never showed pictures of my stairwell garland. I took whatever I had leftover from the fireplace garland and just plugged away!
5 more days ’til Christmas!!!

Define fabulous…um, ME! Duh. How could you forget that garland? GORGEOUS! I am wishing for a better camera as well…but I *think* Santa knew my sewing machine broke up with me and might be getting me a new one! One can hope. Sounds like you’ve been getting as much snow as us here – tons! At least it will be a white Christmas with lots of sledding for the kids (which means early bedtimes from exhaustion, Merry indeed!)

I can TOTALLY relate to the camera issues! It’s frustrating at times, but have no fear…your talent shines through! 🙂

Looks pretty fabulous to me! Your house is absolutely stunning. My last house was white with black shutters and a red door. I love the classic look of white with dark shutters.
I’m wishing for a new camera too but it’s not happening anytime soon. I know exactly what I want but I fear that my laptop is on it’s last legs so I need to save my pennies for that. Argh.
Loving your garland too! I really need to find me some of those fern-looking thingies. I looked a few weeks ago but no luck.
Did you do a post on that fabulous wreath on the door? Off to find out…
Merry Christmas, my friend.

p.s. Candle out. 1st floor to the left of the door.

Your decorations are absolutely DIVINE!!! The outside picture is sooooo pretty. I can’t seem to get the camera setting right for night shots. And….THAT GARLAND IS TO DIE FOR. Wow did that turn out great. I am so proud of you. THREE MORE DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS EVE. We had a 3 hour power outage. Did nothing but freeze. Boring….only 7 more gifts to wrap.
