Omg.. I’ve been lusting over this machine for months!! I have dreams of all the wonderful things I could make and how stress free and pretty I’ll look making all the wonderful things! Currently with the yucky old fashion method of cutting horrible ugly patterns that always end up looking nothing like I imagine, I always look stress and grotesque (a bit extreme but I need to win this!) while making all the ugly stuff. My first project would be some new Christmas ornaments for my tree. I’d purchase some pretty craft paper in various patterns, but all red. Then cut out snowflakes, ornament shapes and Christmas words. Then my old Christmas ornaments would be gifted to my kids and a young couple that are neighbors of ours that are just starting out. Last Christmas I gave that same young couple two Christmas stockings for their mantle – one with Santa and one with Mrs. Santa – and I gave them a matching tree skirt. I’d love to win the Silhouette Cameo because I could make items for lots of folks I know. Thanks for this opportunity!

I would LOVE to win this machine. This is something that I wouldn’t be able to afford to buy for myself….but my O my, the possibilities. I have two daughters (no sons…poor hubby),and once bought him a vinyl cling for his bathroom mirror that said “life is sweeter with girls”. Well, that mirror is gone now and I would love to be able to make him another one of these signs. I spent half of today ripping apart old pallets for the wood and this machine would make it so nice to turn the wood into signs.

I don’t know what it’s like to be homeless but I know what it’s like to have a home you don’t want to go home to due to family problems. I’m past that time of my life by a lotta years but you’re so right – holidays bring back the memories.

I’ve been reading blogs that have the silhoutte and love their projects. I am a teacher and would love to have my own silhoutte to make labels for the classroom and for organizing it too.
