I’ve spoken before about Glidden’s MyColortopia.com. Basically, it’s everything you need for paint and color inspiration. They now have a new section on their website called Show Your Colors (of course, right?). If you’re a fan of before and after photos (and I know you are!), this is the place to be. It’s a collection of these photos submitted by real people. You know…real people!
The fun begins when you click on the “before and after” tab. You can browse through everything like I did, or you can narrow down your options. White kitchen? Blue bathroom? The choice is yours! How fun.
Thinking, “Oh, I like the color of that room”? Click on get paint colors from this photo, use the crop tool to grab a section of color you like, and click show colors.
And of course, you can always submit your own photos! Just sign in with Facebook and follow the form directions. Easy. Peasy. Sooo what did I upload to MyColortopia.com? You knew I had to try it!
It was a no-brainer. Paint changed the life of this room, so I had to share it with others. The power of paint, folks.

You wanna try it now, don’t you? Let’s just say you do! It’s just too fun not to try it. Click on the widget below, and you can get started right away! Enjoy!

off subject but i was so excited to see your smiling face in my new BHG today!
I saw that picture and immediately knew I’d seen that room before, lol! Congratulations, Chris!
Thank you so much, Amy!
I really need to check this out. Being about to really visualize it is a great idea.
You are right, before and afters are so much fun! thanks for the link- will be checking it out.
The first images shown on this post shows simplicity while the second images shows elegant. Both of them are perfect…love it!
I totally need this. That visualize-before-painting is huge for me. HUGE. Like, I’ll trade a few weeks of sliced bread for colortopia. Totes doing this. Thanks for the heads-up.

The curtains in the second pic are very chic and elegant. Where are they from?
Thanks, Regina. They’re from Ikea.
Haha, it is really fun. But somehow helps you to redecorate your home.
