Every year, I pull out my trusty American flag for some Independence Day decor. I love it, and it certainly makes a statement.
Two years ago (yep-two years), I bought some 4th of July fabric to coordinate within the room. Well, in that two year procrastination-fest, I figured out how to make pillows without actually sewing them.
Now that I’m a no-sewer (that reads so-er, not sue-er), I decided to revisit the fabric. It was just the touch the living room needed. A little 4th. A little July. Me likey.
I forgot to make a tutorial on these, so I’ll be back with that. You won’t believe how quickly these come together. Well, maybe you will believe it. But you’ll be stunned. Flabbergasted?
How about a little link party? What have YOU been up to this week?

I love your couches. Are they Pottery Barn? I love their slipcovered ones, but my budget is incredibly limited.
Chris says
Hi Lisa! They are not. I believe they’re Bassett or Broyhill? We bought them 8 years ago, but we were able to customize them by choosing the arms, pillows, skirting, etc. I highly recommend them! Thanks for stopping by!
Kim says
Hi Chris;
Love your decorating ideas. What color is your living room…the color behind the fireplace?
Chris says
