Good Mood Board: Living Room

by Chris on December 1, 2011

Cassity at Remodelaholic asked me to be a part of a series where we get to design our ideal living room and share it with others. Uh…ok! Which one of us doesn’t sit around and daydream about this exact thing every single day anyway?

#10

Admittedly, after looking at the list, I realized something. I don’t belong. Talented bloggers here, no?

So here’s my room.

I’m pretty much madly in love with the urban glitz look right now. Yup. Made it up, but it works. Mixed metals? You bet. Exposed brick with crystal? Awwww yeah. No dog hair? Word to ya motha.

The idea of a feminine space surrounded by texture to tone it down is right up my alley. I love the space. You can see the rest of the details here. I used Olioboard, and I’m hooked.

If you’ve missed the other presentations, you can check them out here. It’s a virtual tour of dream rooms! Go visit Brooke at All Things Thrifty for the final room today.

Great job with the room – I love creating dream rooms on mood boards. Great way to play with out spending the money in your own space!

What a fantastic mood board! I’ve been loving the urban glam/glitz look myself, recently. (My favorite is the chandelier.)

Mine too, Miss Charming. If only I could afford it. :)

How fun! And I laughed out loud when I read your “word to ya motha.” The way I read that in my head, Vanilla Ice would have been proud. = )

Ha! I love it, Ashley. Well said! ;)

LOL!

I love it! I always say “just do what you love” and this totally works! Beautiful mix!
