Sonya June 28, 2010 at 4:29 am

RebekahBridge June 28, 2010 at 4:31 am

There are so many great things that I would make using the Silhouette. Just looking at all the inspiration pictures on the blog and the pictures shared on Flickr gives me so many more projects for my "must do ASAP" list! A couple things I can't wait to get started on are some glass etchings and wall vinyls. Thanks for the opportunity to experience all the fun that can be had with my own Silhouette!

brandall June 28, 2010 at 4:31 am

I want one of these but knowing it's not mac compatible yet…I thought I'd have to do without. So I go over to the Silhoutte site and find out that they are working on mac software to be released in the fall and better than that – it works now with a mac and adobe illustrator…perfection!

Now I know I have to have one!

Thanks for the opportunity to win.

deanna June 28, 2010 at 4:37 am

There are several ways I would use this – I would love to try the vinyl lettering and vinyl designs…also card making, glass etching…I could go on and on. I really want one of these!

Amber June 28, 2010 at 4:38 am

The first thing I would do with a Silhouette is vinyl up all the canisters in my kitchen with labels – flour, sugar, brown sugar. And then move on to the pantry… Oooh, so many options! You guys ROCK!

Kaylynn June 28, 2010 at 4:38 am

It does so many cool things! I'd really like to use it for vinyl lettering/decorations and the heat transfers.

Jennifer June 28, 2010 at 5:30 am

I've so drooled over these ever since I first layed my eyes on one in a giveaway. I had admired that "other" one for a while, but this one seems so much more of a fit for me. No expensive cartridges that I know I can not afford (I don't even think I could afford the machine itself so how on earth could I buy cartridges???) and then I found the Silhouette WITHOUT cartridges and fell in LOOOVVVEEEE!!! I can't even tell you how big of a hoop, holler and happy dance I would do if I won! Just giddy like a school girl over the thought of it! =) =)

CodynStacey June 28, 2010 at 5:30 am

I have entered EVERY Silhouette giveaway available to man and haven't won yet. This is not good for my self-esteem! Every time I open a blog and it says someone else's name, my spirit dies just a little bit more…

Ok, so that is maybe a bit dramatic. But you know how I feel, right?!?!?! I definitely need to win this one!!!

Soko June 28, 2010 at 5:31 am

I can think of a bizillion uses for this little beauty. I'd get started by whipping up some great vinyl decor for my classroom. Then I'd move on to cutting heat transfers to spice up my kiddo's summer wardrobe. From there, the sky's the limit! :)

CodynStacey June 28, 2010 at 5:31 am

I would use it for EVERY project!!! Scrapbooking, vinyl heat transfers, vinyl projects, glass etching, it's fabulous for it ALL!

Jennifer June 28, 2010 at 5:33 am

Jennifer June 28, 2010 at 5:47 am

After looking at the Silhouette website I can say I would use the Silhouette for so many things that I probably wouldn't even have time for laundry! (who needs clean clothes anyway, when you can have a plethera of cute projects around your home?!! hee hee)

I can say that I think the first thing(s) I would do are to make CUUUTTEE birthday decorations for my little girl's upcoming 7th birthday party, and use the heat transfer to make both a shirt for her party and clothes for school too! What am I saying I would probably have my children dressed in the cutest clothes ever made by mommy instead of some of the tacky store bought stuff you find these days.

Christmas gifts, holiday decor… oh the things I could do and the money I could save!!!! LOOOVEEE!

The Trotter Family June 28, 2010 at 5:49 am

The possibilities are endless, but I'd start by using it to label things for organizational purposes! Especially things in glass containers…it would look great!

Jan June 28, 2010 at 10:55 am

There are so many ways that I could use the Silhouette at home, but I am the Librarian at an Elementary School. The ways that I could use the Silhouette to update the 35 year old Library are countless!

LindaSonia June 28, 2010 at 10:55 am

I'd love to win this – I would label everything, make etched glass coasters for sure… sooo many things are possible. LindaSonia

Wowie-Zowie. Where to start! The first thing I would do is download lots of owls and make some vinyl t-shirts! Or, maybe some rhinestone t-shirts. How about a denim jacket? I would also like to use some of the Nativity downloads to make a frosted glass block for my foyer table for Christmas. I LOVE YOU SILHOUETTE!

amanda June 28, 2010 at 11:23 am

i mentioned the contest on twitter :)

This could be the Holy Grail that restores order and peace to my craft area! Good riddance to all the unnecessary clutter!

ClassiclyAmber June 28, 2010 at 12:22 pm

Oh mersay – if I had one of these BFFs, then we could do all KINDS of things together! I'd be making cut-out vinyl designs first, though. I've always wanted to try that!

[ClassiclyAmber at gmail.com]

ClassiclyAmber June 28, 2010 at 12:24 pm

So – I just visited their site and did not realize you could do heat transfers with it, too. LOVE! So I would definitely be trying that out, too!

sam June 28, 2010 at 12:35 pm

My first project would be using one of the wonderful fonts to make letters that spell out "close the lid" to adhere to the toilet seat. We just got a new puppy and my husband cannot seem to remember to do so so she does not use it at a water bowl. Yuck!

Melissa Vian June 28, 2010 at 6:35 pm

I would love to add some vinyl to my walls and their website offers so many options!

I'm Lindsay! June 28, 2010 at 6:38 pm

I would die to have this! I just graduated from college (aka I'm BROKE) and would love to have this to make tons of awesome things for my classroom…bulletin boards, labels, name tags…the possibilities are endless!!

Anonymous June 28, 2010 at 6:41 pm

I LOVE your blog. I keep trying to figure out where you are from the pictures. I live in Southeast Michigan but grew up in West Michigan. I also emailed you about the shirts-I used the adhesive to put on a design but it kept peeling-still haven't figured it out :)

I would use this new snazzy machine for so many wonderful things. I have three small children and I teach second grade. The options are limitless. At home I would begin by labeling items with words and pictures so the kids can put things in proper places. At school I would love to label areas of the room like book shelves, supply centers, etc.. with labels and shapes. I would also make notes to send to students and friends! Finally-I really want to spruce up the walls of my classroom-I would use this to create designs that would make the classroom feel more like home and not so institutional!

I hope I win!!!

Omigoodness…I wanna win this soo bad! I looooove custom matting for picture frames and this would be an awesome tool for just that! I've never tried making homemade cards but I'd have to try it I think. The ladies at my church make them and they are beautiful, I've just always been too scared to try making them. I make diaper cakes and make homemade business cards BY HAND to tie on as advertisement.Thats with fancy scissors and paper punches so this machine would make me some beautiful cards with less effort! I can think of oh so many ways I can use this marvelous machine!!! Please pick me to win!!
