Not only do I love the fact that Jessika at Secret Pie Shoppe transformed this thrift store find, but I love the technique she used to do it. We could all make this painting!
My friend Beth over at The Stories of A to Z has been keeping a secret from me. It involves a fantastic bathroom and a painted vanity. Soooo nice.

I first looked at the "horse painting" and thought, "Really, how can I make that? It's kind of ugly…I don't think I want to make that." Then I scrolled down and saw the cool painting that you were actually talking about! (It's early, I'm only on my first cup of coffee)…Anyway, that is a really cool piece of art! I'll check it out!

That vanity is too pretty to do anything but be looked at. Scrumptious! And the painting – I wish I could see past the ugliness of some thrift store finds to their beauty potential. Great finds!

Oh my gosh. That horse picture is the same one my parents had in their house. I sold it years ago at a garage sale. I wonder if it could be the same one? ha. One never knows.
