Colortopia Project Wizard

Remember my house goal #1? Well…I’m moving a little slowly on that one. However, Spring Break is fast approaching, and I’m hoping to start thinking about painting it. Luckily, Glidden’s My Colortopia has my back.

I say this because I tend to be cursed when it comes to choosing the wrong amount of paint I need. I’ve been known to come up short on paint and have to get another gallon. That didn’t match the other paint on the wall. Aaaand I’ve been known to do that more than once.

Glidden offers a Paint Project Wizard that helps you determine how much paint (yes!), what kind of paint, and what supplies you might need for your next project.

I thought the supply list was really helpful. While I’ve painted my fair share of rooms and feel I have a handle on this, I can’t tell you how many people don’t realize what they need. It can be overwhelming to walk into a store and figure it out, so the list was really cool to me!

Soooo you click on some questions (and they include doors and windows when figuring paint—love that!), and they tell you what kind of paint is best for the room you’re painting. Then they tell you how much paint you’ll need.  Not sure where to find Glidden paint? They tell you where to go! These people. They know what they’re doing, eh?

Of course, I’m still having fun playing around with their My Image Inspiration. I’m thinking grays, taupes, whites… The possibilities are endless, but at least now I know how much paint to buy when I finally decide!Glidden paint

Stay tuned! If I’m lucky, I’ll get to paint it in a few weeks. If my husband’s lucky, I won’t ask him to help me paint in a room with vaulted ceilings.

I have been sponsored by Glidden brand paint to write this post but the thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

Well, hello. Ahem. Allow myself to introduce..my..self. My name is Chris! And I’m a blogger! I got into blogging after spending months reading all the inspiration that is found in blogland. I thought to myself, “Self, I can do this. I might have something to offer too!” And so it began...
