Well, hello. We left off on Monday with showing what we did to the front porch. And thank you so very much for your kind response to it!
Today I figure I’ll show what I did on the inside. As usual, I kept it simple with fresh greenery–my favorite.
I purchased a bay leaf garland from Williams Sonoma this year, and it’s the best purchase I’ve made! I’ve wanted one for years, but they were never long enough. This one is 12 feet long and perfect for the banister! #firstworldexcitement
I left the garland alone other than using black and cream ribbon to accent.
I found these lanterns at Kirklands to flank the newly painted front door (more on that later), and I should have picked up 10 more. I have a bit of an obsession with lanterns.
I hot glued some ribbon and sprigs from the backyard, and it was done. Yay for easy!
Nothing elaborate, mind you, but oh so festive! It sure doesn’t take much to get your house into the festive spirit, ya know? I find that sugar cookies in the oven really help with that too.
I’ll be back tomorrow (I think) to share another room for you. I’m usually decorating until Christmas Eve, and I never feel like I’m done. Tell me I’m not alone.
Wanna check out the front porch? Here’s a sneak of what you missed.
